About the brand
Founded in Marseille, France, in 1918, Baudouin has its roots in marine engines. Today it is headquartered in Cassis, France, with manufacturing sites in France, China and India. A member of the Weichai Group since 2009, Baudouin is supported by more than 300 service points worldwide.
Baudouin describes its engines as purpose-built for marine work: models such as the 6M33.3 and 6F21 use a separate cylinder head for each cylinder, so a single cylinder can be inspected and repaired on its own, shortening time out of service. The propulsion range spans 136 to 2,536 kW, and the product line covers propulsion, auxiliary power and onboard electricity generation.
Depending on model, rating and aftertreatment configuration, versions are available that meet IMO Tier II/III, US EPA or EU Stage V requirements; applicable certification is confirmed by the individual specification and certificate.
Hallmark Marine is Baudouin's authorized distributor in Taiwan, providing application review, installation guidance and sea trials, scheduled maintenance and repair, and genuine spare parts supply.
