Features
ACU control as standard
Supplied with the manufacturer's ACU (Actuator Control Unit); the reversing bucket can be controlled mechanically or by the ACU.
No restrictions on operating profile
According to the manufacturer, like all Alamarin-Jet products, the AJ 180/185 has no restrictions on operating profile.
Conical impeller housing
The impeller can be moved fore and aft to adjust the tip clearance to the housing wall; after wear in sandy or silty water, the clearance can be readjusted (according to the manufacturer).
Grease-lubricated bearings
Both the main and rear bearings are grease-lubricated.
Applications: Mainly luxury yacht tenders and small commercial craft (the manufacturer notes that these applications often carry SOLAS certification requirements)
